Hotel 24 South

About Hotel 24 South

Hotel 24 South is a historic 1924 hotel on South Market Street in downtown Staunton, Virginia. The Georgian Revival building was formerly known as the Stonewall Jackson Hotel and was renamed Hotel 24 South in 2020. Its downtown location places it within walking distance of local shops, museums, boutiques and restaurants. The event spaces include two ballrooms and several smaller meeting rooms. The Colonnade Ballroom is a restored room with stately columns, soaring ceilings and bay windows, adjacent to the Magnolia South restaurant and with access to an outdoor patio, and it is used for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The Shenandoah Ballroom is the largest space and can be divided into three rooms. Smaller rooms (Blue Ridge, Skyline, Staunton Boardroom and Augusta) suit board meetings, executive meetings and intimate private gatherings, and the Augusta Room can serve as a getting-ready room on a wedding day. Wedding services include venue rental with tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware and silverware, on-site catering with tiered wedding packages, planning support, and on-site audiovisual services. The hotel has guest rooms with accessible options and a discounted group rate for wedding guests, plus a heated indoor pool, fitness facility, complimentary Wi-Fi, and an enclosed parking garage.
