Set in a private coulee in Wisconsin’s Driftless region, the fifth-generation Horstmann family’s late-1800s hayloft has been renovated as an event barn. It is available for weddings during the early May through October season, with weekend, Friday-only, Saturday-only, Sunday-only, weekday and ceremony-only booking options. The ceremony-only option is not booked until the year of the event. The barn has a stated capacity of 200 people. Venue bookings include tables and chairs, two event attendants, two-stall indoor men’s and women’s bathrooms, a sound system with a DJ option, handicap parking and a parking attendant. The Hen House and Bull Pen are preparation rooms for the couple. Other on-site features include a front patio, back deck with outdoor seating, ceremony pavilion and bonfire pit. Optional services include a mobile bar with licensed bartenders, an in-house photographer, an in-house DJ and a day-of event coordinator. The venue is five miles outside West Salem and within a ten-minute drive of I-90, hotels, flower shops, a bakery and caterers.
