About Hocking Hills Chapel
Hocking Hills Chapel is a restored 1836 one-room log chapel nestled in the Hocking Hills region of Ohio. The non-denominational venue offers a rustic, intimate setting for wedding ceremonies and elopements, surrounded by towering trees and rolling hills. The historic timber-framed building features a stained glass altar window and a front porch, with ongoing restoration preserving its 19th-century character. Reverend Randy Strickland, who has officiated over 700 weddings, leads the ministry and performs ceremonies at the chapel as well as at scenic outdoor locations throughout Hocking Hills State Park. The chapel is suitable for small weddings and does not provide catering services.
