About History Museum of Carteret County

The History Museum of Carteret County’s Event Center is a 2,500-square-foot auditorium with open floor space that can be adapted for different event layouts. The museum is in downtown Morehead City, in a building that formerly housed a grocery and furniture store. The Event Center has hosted weddings and other private functions, including wedding receptions. The museum also rents its parking lot separately for outdoor events.
