About Historic Barns of Nipmoose

Set on a hillside in the upper Hudson River Valley, Historic Barns of Nipmoose offers indoor and outdoor wedding settings among restored historic barns, gardens, a pond, an aspen grove, an expansive courtyard and working farmland. Couples may choose a ceremony location on the grounds; either the Scottish or German Barn can serve as a rain plan. The Scottish Barn is commonly used for seated dinners, while the German Barn is used for cocktails and dancing. All three historic barns and the surrounding grounds are included in a wedding rental. The venue also provides a caterer preparation area in the Workshop Barn, a bridal party dressing area, restrooms and parking. Rentals are seasonal, generally from mid-May to mid-October, and only one wedding per weekend is scheduled.
