About Hilton Head Island Rear Range Lighthouse
Also known as the Leamington Lighthouse, this historic landmark stands in Palmetto Dunes Resort overlooking the Arthur Hills Golf Course. Built between 1879 and 1880, its 92-foot tower is accompanied by a brick oil house and water cistern; an old live oak stands nearby. The lighthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The tower interior is not open to visitors.
