Heartwood Acres

About Heartwood Acres

Set on 15 acres near Lake Oconee, Heartwood Acres offers a two-story, 4,000-square-foot climate-controlled venue and lawn areas for ceremonies and receptions. Couples can hold ceremonies outdoors or indoors; the indoor space can accommodate ceremonies of up to 175, and the lawn provides an outdoor option. The venue includes a private bridal suite with an oversized bathroom and shower, a separate groom’s lounge, a catering prep kitchen, bistro lighting, ample parking, and an on-site or on-call facility manager. Reception and ceremony areas and restrooms are wheelchair accessible; the upstairs loft is not. Guests can choose their own vendors, and alcohol service requires a bartender. Lodging at Heartwood Lofts is in downtown Eatonton, 10–14 minutes from the venue, rather than on site.
