About Hawthorn Hollow Nature Sanctuary & Arboretum
Hawthorn Hollow Nature Sanctuary & Arboretum is a 12‑acre accredited arboretum and nature reserve in Kenosha, WI, featuring historic buildings, the Charles and Kathryn Heide Observatory, nearly five miles of trails, and a riverfront amphitheater that seats up to 100 guests. The site offers three dedicated outdoor ceremony locations—a woodland amphitheater (up to 125 guests), a meadow (up to 75 guests), and a wildflower garden (20‑50 guests)—each with a photography permit and rehearsal included. Additional indoor space is available in the Pike House retreat house, which can be rented by the hour on weekdays or for a full weekend day.
