About Hallie Ford Museum of Art

The Hallie Ford Museum of Art is a university art museum at 700 State Street in downtown Salem, Oregon, on the corner of State and Cottage Streets near the Oregon State Capitol and the Willamette University campus. Its permanent collection of more than 11,000 artworks includes Northwest and Native American art, traditional Native American baskets, and works from ancient Mediterranean and Egyptian, Asian, European and American traditions. Rotating special exhibitions are presented throughout the year. The museum is available for private events such as cocktail receptions, dinner parties, business meetings, lectures and presentations. The full museum can host up to 299 people, and space may be rented after regular museum hours.
