About Hakone Estate and Gardens
Set in the Santa Cruz Mountains overlooking Silicon Valley, Hakone Estate and Gardens offers an 18-acre hillside setting of Japanese gardens, historic buildings, koi ponds and waterfalls. Wedding ceremonies can be held by the koi pond and waterfall, at the covered Wisteria Pavilion, or at the Garden Site; both indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception options are offered. Receptions may take place outdoors under the stars or inside historic buildings, including the Cultural Exchange Center, a replica of a 19th-century Kyoto tea merchant’s house with a deck overlooking Silicon Valley.
