Gale Vineyards

Wedding venue in Durham, California

About Gale Vineyards

Gale Vineyards is a winery on Stanford Lane in Durham, California, in Butte County, about seven miles from downtown Chico. The vineyard was first planted in 2001, and its estate varietals are grown using organic practices and dry farmed. The winery and cellar building was built in 2008 with straw bale construction, which the site describes as insulating the cellar to keep it cool in summer and warm in winter. The tasting room has an outdoor patio and is offered as a private event space for group gatherings, with private tours and tastings arranged through the venue's contact page. Tasting room visits include wine tasting, local food pairings, and gifts.
