Set within more than 84 acres of McKinley Woods near the confluence of the Des Plaines, DuPage and Kankakee rivers, Four Rivers offers indoor and outdoor wedding settings amid river and preserve views. The modern, eco-conscious facility has large windows, and its Illinois River Grand Hall opens onto a river-view patio with access to a paved riverwalk. Couples can hold receptions in the hall and outdoor celebrations at the Four Rivers or Riverside Shelter; a shelter ceremony rehearsal is included in the Celebration package. The Grand Hall is described as comfortable for 125–130 guests, with somewhat more possible depending on seating. The Four Rivers Shelter accommodates up to 180 people and Riverside Shelter up to 125. Indoor wedding rentals include tables and chairs, and District Guest Services staff are present during the permitted rental to assist with setup and facility logistics. Food and bar service must come from a caterer on the District’s approved list. Wedding reservations may be made up to one year in advance. The visitor center also features hands-on exhibits about regional rivers and wildlife, accessible amenities and adaptive resources; trails and river activities are available in the surrounding preserve.

The $3,000 Celebration package covers 10 hours and includes the Illinois River Grand Hall, a family suite (classroom with adjacent restroom), either the Four Rivers Shelter or Riverside Shelter, and a shelter ceremony rehearsal; a 50% deposit is required. Grand Hall rentals cost $700 for four hours on weekdays or $900 for evening/weekend rentals, and $1,400 for eight weekday hours or $1,800 for evening/weekend rentals; extra time is $200 per hour. Hall rentals are limited to 10 hours and cannot extend beyond midnight. Each shelter costs $350 for Will County residents or $700 for non-residents, with a 100% deposit; shelter access is from 8 a.m. to sunset.
