Wedding venue in Jefferson, Georgia

About Events at Stony Oak Farm

Stony Oak Farm is a family farm wedding venue in Northeast Georgia, about 20 minutes from Athens and between Jefferson and Braselton. Couples can hold ceremonies at multiple outdoor locations, including by the barn, the large oak tree or in the pasture, with two movable custom arbors. The barn and surrounding area include a covered, open-air reception area, and the venue says an event for up to 125 guests can be held under cover if it rains. The property also has a bridal suite with a full bathroom, a temperature-controlled groom’s room, indoor restrooms including an accessible restroom, and multiple photo locations. Tables and chairs can be set up to the couple’s specifications; venue staff are onsite during the wedding day, and pasture parking for approximately 50 cars includes an attendant. The venue allows couples to choose their own vendors and does not provide catering. Wine and beer may be served after the ceremony using a venue-approved bartender, with a venue-provided security officer required for the reception when alcohol is served.
