The Donald and Carol Kress Pavilion is a modern community center and library in the heart of Egg Harbor, Wisconsin, offering a versatile event space for weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and other celebrations. Completed in early 2018, the building features the second-floor George Kress Foundation Great Hall, an 1,800-square-foot room with floor-to-ceiling windows, wood floors, exposed beams, a double-sided gas fireplace, and a video wall. Wraparound porches provide sweeping views of the bay and surrounding orchards, with two ceremony areas: a south-end covered porch seating up to 110 for a ceremony or 50 for a seated dinner, and a bayside porch accommodating up to 140 for a ceremony or 96 for a seated dinner. The first floor houses the Egg Harbor Library, which can be rented after hours for cocktail parties, ceremonies, or seated dinners. The entire building, including the library and meeting rooms, can host up to 200 guests with access to outdoor areas. The venue is owned and managed by the Village of Egg Harbor and is part of a Green Tier community, featuring solar panels, electric car charging stations, and sustainable practices. Catering is provided by a list of approved caterers; clients may bring their own alcohol with a licensed bar caterer. The pavilion also offers smaller meeting spaces—Business Center, History Center, and Maker Space—for corporate or private gatherings.
