About Don Knabe Golf Center & Junior Academy
Don Knabe Golf Center & Junior Academy is a public nine-hole, walking-only course in Norwalk, California, laid out by Gary Bye with large bentgrass greens and holes between 50 and 100 yards. The course is fully illuminated from tee to green for play after sunset, and the night-lit driving range sits alongside a putting green, chipping area, and practice bunkers. The Ginger Shattuck Community Room is a 2,000-square-foot indoor space that holds up to 75 guests in flexible arrangements. It is used for receptions, ceremonies, corporate meetings, bridal showers, birthdays, and anniversaries, and a dedicated event team helps with planning and execution. Golf instruction is provided by PGA professionals, and the pro shop offers club fitting, rentals, and branded equipment and apparel. The center has no restaurant or bar; grab-and-go food and beverage specials are available, and banquet and catering options are offered for pre- and post-golf events.
