About Del’avant Event Center

Del’avant Event Center is a 10,000-square-foot event venue in downtown LaGrange, housed in the former Kress and McLellan five-and-dime stores. Its three spaces support different parts of a wedding: the McLellan Parlor for ceremonies, the outdoor Rooftop Garden for cocktail hours or pre-reception gatherings, and the Kress Ballroom for receptions. The venue offers a prep kitchen, sound and theatrical lighting, presentation equipment, dressing rooms, tables and chairs, and free parking. Couples may choose their own caterer and bring their own food and alcohol; event coordination is included, with additional wedding-planning assistance available for a fee. The venue notes that hotels are nearby rather than on site.
