About Davis Event Space
Davis Event Space occupies the historic Davis Brothers Garage, built in 1915, on Harrisonville’s Historic Square. Its 5,700-square-foot ballroom has exposed brick, natural light, custom lighting, a staircase and a built-in bar; a patio with bistro lighting and a boxwood wall provides an outdoor gathering and photo area. The ballroom accommodates up to 250 guests, and weddings can use traditional ceremony seating for up to 160, table seating for up to 250, or an intimate ceremony in the Harlan Loft for up to 30. Nearby locations, including Harrisonville City Park, are options for outdoor ceremonies; the venue can serve as a reception site or weather backup for off-site ceremonies. The venue offers a bridal suite, a first-floor groom’s room, a catering prep area, dance floor, in-house sound system, wireless microphones, TVs, tables and chairs, and on-site event staff. The first floor, ballroom, patio and restrooms are described as ADA accessible. Wedding packages include 12 hours of venue access, access to venue décor and use of the entire venue, including the ballroom and Harlan Loft. Couples may use preferred vendors or choose their own; outside alcohol is prohibited and venue bartenders are required.
