Dahlgren Chapel is an intimate historic chapel atop South Mountain, built in the English Gothic Revival style with stone walls, stained glass, a marble altar, and walnut interior paneling. The Central Maryland Heritage League makes the chapel available for private services, events, and weddings recognized by Maryland and approved by its board. The chapel seats 80 people and includes an aisle nearly 40 feet long. Rentals cover four hours, with two hours before and two hours after the event; the chapel is not rented from December through March because it has no heat.
