About Columbia Ballroom
Columbia Ballroom is a historic barn-turned-ballroom wedding and event venue located in the countryside of Columbia Station, Ohio, serving the greater Cleveland and Akron area. Established in 1931 and family-run for three generations, the venue offers rustic elegance with modern amenities. Ceremonies can be held outdoors under a white arbor (up to 200 guests) or indoors on the dance floor with a movable cedar arbor. Receptions are hosted in the Grand Ballroom, a 9,000-square-foot space featuring 8,500 square feet of oak flooring, sparkling chandeliers, and a newly remodeled bar, accommodating up to 400 guests. A smaller, intimate Small Ballroom seats up to 60 guests for showers, rehearsal dinners, and luncheons. All-inclusive packages include in-house catering by the chef-owner, full bar service, tables, chairs, floor-length linens, setup and teardown, and indoor/outdoor ceremony options. An on-site Bridal House (24959 Royalton Road) sleeps up to 12 guests with a full kitchen, welcome wine, mimosas, and breakfast, available as an overnight add-on. Additional amenities include a concrete patio with a beverage window for cocktail hour, on-site parking with overnight vehicle pickup, getting-ready spaces for both partners, and a dedicated in-house event coordinator. The venue hosts weddings, receptions, bridal showers, baby showers, rehearsal dinners, graduation parties, and other private gatherings.
