About Chester County History Center
Chester County History Center is an indoor and outdoor event venue in downtown West Chester, housed in two historic buildings on North High Street. It hosts weddings and receptions as well as other private and corporate events, and couples can arrange both ceremony and reception at the venue. Event spaces include an auditorium/banquet hall, conference room, terrace, atrium, two classrooms, and two wedding-party rooms. The museum can stay open late by request for event guests. The 2,600-square-foot auditorium/banquet hall supports cocktail receptions for up to 300, theater seating for up to 250, or seated dinners for up to 180. The terrace and atrium offer more than 900 square feet of outdoor space, with glass doors into the building and tenting available. The venue also provides accessible facilities and complimentary Wi-Fi. Wedding packages may include museum access, a wedding suite, day-of coordination, tables and chairs, a dance floor, a terrace tent, and a caterer selected from the preferred list.
