About Cézanne Event Space & Art Gallery

Cézanne is an active art gallery and event venue in Kansas City's Crossroads Arts District, where rotating contemporary artwork provides a backdrop for wedding ceremonies, seated dinners and cocktail receptions. The 5,500-square-foot single-floor space accommodates up to 150 seated guests or 220 for cocktail-style events; the FAQ gives a more specific limit of 130 for a ceremony and seated reception, and 200 for a cocktail reception with limited seating. Wedding rentals include five hours of reception time, tables, chairs and soft furnishings, basic setup, teardown and cleanup, planning support, bartending for up to two bartenders, audio-visual equipment and wedding security. Ceremonies at the venue incur a separate setup fee. The in-house bar is required, with tiered bar packages and optional signature cocktails; couples may choose their own other vendors. Optional services include linens, a photo booth, day-of coordination, and coffee and tea service. A 30-space lot is described as included with wedding rentals on the wedding page, while the FAQ says dedicated lot parking is an optional add-on reserved by event hosts; confirm parking terms for the event. The venue is on the KC Streetcar line, with nearby hotels listed a few blocks away.
