About Buford Community Center

Buford Community Center offers an indoor wedding reception in the Phillip Beard Ballroom and an outdoor ceremony option at the Town Park Pergola. The ballroom features oak carpentry, two walls of windows, chandeliers, a grand staircase and private walk-out terraces overlooking the town park. Receptions can be customized for smaller gatherings and are listed for up to 275 guests. The pergola has the community center as its backdrop. Wedding planning includes a single point of contact for vendor selection, room setup and décor. Couples must choose a caterer from the approved list; outside catering is not permitted, and Proof of the Pudding is the exclusive alcohol and bar service provider. Couples may choose their own cake, photographer and florist. A wedding booking reserves the building for that wedding alone for the day.

Pricing note

The stated rates are for theatre and stage rentals for performance production, not wedding rentals: $1,750 for nonprofit weekday rentals, $2,250 for nonprofit weekend rentals, $2,000 for for-profit weekday rentals and $2,500 for for-profit weekend rentals. A $500 security deposit is additional. Theatre rental is a 12-hour block between 8 AM and 11 PM. No wedding rental amount is stated.
