About Brooklyn Conservatory of Music

At its Park Slope campus, the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music offers an outdoor garden for weddings and other events, alongside an indoor Concert Hall available to rent for events. The garden occupies a 1,700-square-foot parcel and includes two heated, lighted tents covering about half the space, nearby first-floor bathrooms, Wi-Fi, tables and chairs, and a small microphone and speaker for speeches. It accommodates up to 75 people. Renters may bring food and beverages and handle setup and breakdown; only acoustic music is allowed, and restrictions include no glitter, confetti, fire, or drumming. The Concert Hall features a Steinway Model B grand piano, customizable RGB lighting, a mounted 4K projector and screen, sound equipment, event staff, and sound technicians. Its fire-code capacity is 105 people including performers, with chairs for 70 attendees. Tables are included, and food and catering are allowed. Hall availability varies with the school and summer calendars; bookings generally occur about six months ahead. The campus also has 17 rehearsal studios for musicians, but those are for rehearsal only and are not event spaces.
