About Blithewold Mansion, Gardens & Arboretum
Blithewold is a historic 33-acre estate overlooking Narragansett Bay, with a mansion, gardens, arboretum and a 10-acre Great Lawn. Wedding ceremonies are held in a garden beside the mansion, followed by cocktails in the mansion, on its terraces and covered porches, or among the gardens. Dinner and dancing take place in a 40-by-100-foot tent and wedding pavilion beside the Linden Grove, overlooking the lawn and bay. The venue offers one wedding per day, and a ceremony-only package is available year-round; the gardens and arboretum are especially lovely from May through October.
