About Bedford Historical Society

The Society offers two distinct historic settings for wedding events in Bedford Village. Historical Hall, at 608 Old Post Road across from the Village Green, is rented by the day for private events and can host 150 guests, or up to 250 with a tent on its brick patio. The 1787 Court House is available on a very limited basis for ceremonies for up to 75 guests; the Society suggests holding receptions at Historical Hall across the Village Green. Historical Hall has a foyer, main floor, stage, wraparound second-floor balcony, an additional room, two restrooms and an air-conditioned kitchen. The kitchen is equipped for warming and reheating rather than initial food preparation. Renters may bring their own food, caterer, refreshments and planner. One hundred folding chairs and four banquet tables are provided; bars and patio string lights are available for an additional fee.
