Set within the historic Hingham Cemetery grounds, Ames Chapel is a restored historic chapel with stained glass, gumwood beadboard trim, original white pine flooring inlaid with cherry, and an adjoining parlor furnished with period wallpaper and antiques. The upstairs rooms are available for private parties, weddings and other religious ceremonies, funeral services, and cultural events. The Great Hall accommodates 90 people seated in rows, 50 at banquet tables, or 100 standing. The first floor includes a lounge, a boardroom table, a caterer’s kitchen, and accessible restrooms; visitors can reach it by staircase or lift.
