About Akron Woman's City Club
The Akron Woman’s City Club hosts indoor and outdoor wedding events at its historic clubhouse, a 1901 mansion. The Ballroom features Venetian crystal chandeliers, sculptured ceilings and parquet flooring, with the Fountain Room nearby for pre-event gatherings. The Crystal Dining Room is available for wedding ceremonies. The Gallery, in the former library, can be used for cocktails, and the Terrace Room offers views of downtown Akron and the Terrace Patio, which can be used for pre-reception drinks and hors d’oeuvres. The second floor is available for wedding preparations. Events for up to 150 guests are offered, with in-house catering and event staff, full bar service, linens, decorations, china, place settings and glassware. Additional rooms are available for bridal showers, rehearsal dinners and other gatherings; the venue notes central access and ample parking.
