About 23rd Street Armory

The 23rd Street Armory is a historic Philadelphia event venue and active National Guard armory. Its 13,000-plus-square-foot Ring is a clear-span space suited to weddings and receptions, with heating, a projector and screen, power, high-speed internet, and access to the Officers Quarters, formal entrance, and library. The Ring is not air-conditioned. The Dining Room is a renovated 3,500-square-foot room with private-club details, a commercial kitchen, four large tables, and 150 chairs; about 100 guests fit comfortably for dinner, while the room accommodates 150 for lectures. The adjacent museum can also host a reception and is accessible by elevator or grand staircase. Larger events may use multiple spaces. In-house or preferred caterers are required, and production services for lighting, sound, and audiovisual equipment are available through a production partner. Nearby parking, valet options, and use of the Ring for private parking are described; when used for parking, it holds about 60 cars. Rental timing is subject to the armory's training schedule, and minimum rental periods vary by season and day of week.
