What you do in pic2vid
- Start your film with your photos. Watch the sample on Overview, then send your photos with a Drive folder link, ZIPs, a folder or individual pictures. Once a photo is in, tell us about your film, then choose styles and Make my films. Nothing is made before you ask.
- pic2vid: prepare your photographs. Understand the local photo check before any transfer or film order.
- Check the photos on your device. Choose the source and device, then select files for a local count and size check.
- Understand your photo check. Tell photo counts from total size and understand warnings about selected files.
- Remove an extra batch from the check. Correct an extra selection without deleting photos from your device.
- See which photos are in your films. Green checks mark the pictures in your films; filter by film, used or not, and open any original.
- Move, swap or take out a shot. Every shot is shown as its photos — move it, swap the picture, or take it out; one tap undoes it. A shot you take out needs a replacement: pick one with Swap photo, or leave it to us, and say why if you like so the next photo avoids it.
- Leave notes and send your changes. Pause and note any moment with its frame, then send everything for the next version of your film.
- Choose a style for another film. Same photos and song, a different feel — open the styles you have or pick a new one.
- Tell us about your film. First send your photos from Overview. Then tell us your names, the date, the music, the length and motion — used for every film.
- Set a photo aside, or take it out of a film. Don’t use keeps a photo out of every new film; Take out of this film records it in your changes.
- Watch frame by frame; pausing is a note. Step one frame either way; the moment you pause, a note opens on that moment with its frame — and says which pictures are stills and which are motion, so you can ask for the right thing. Pause somewhere else and an empty note follows you; one with words asks where it belongs.
- Pick your styles and make your films. Send photos first, tell us about your film, then pick one or several styles and press Make my films. Follow each film on its way.
- Bring in photos that aren’t in the film. Switch to Not used, tick the photos you want, bring them over, then choose: let us place them with their moment, or place them yourself by dragging. They wait in Additions, behind the change log. The film stays about the same length unless you ask for more time.
- Hold a picture longer, set the pace, and submit. Every change shows up in the Change log as you make it, one entry per thing you changed; tap one to open it, the bin to remove it. The whole film holds the pace, the length (ask for a bit longer, up to 10 minutes) and the order of the day. Submit sends them all.
- Pay for your films, or use a promo code. pic2vid is one price for your wedding. Type a promo code if you have one, pay once, and your films start by themselves.
- Bring photos to life — and why it waits in a line. Choose how much AI video on Your film: the big moments (our pick, and where you start), photos you pick, or just the photos. AI video is made one photo at a time, in a line with every other couple’s, so more of it means a longer wait. Every other picture still moves with no wait: the camera glides through it, and a burst of shots plays as slow motion. On the big moments we give your hero shots (the walk in, the kiss, the first dance) real motion, like a short video clip, and the others a breath of motion: the veil, hair or leaves move and you stay exactly as you are. Photos shows which pictures come to life; change any one, or pick real motion yourself (six a film at most).
- Like a moment — so the next version does more of it. Pause on a moment you love and tap Like this; say why if you want. Every like tells us your taste, so the next version leans that way without your having to ask.
- Name your film. Tap the pencil beside the title and call it what you like; every version carries the name, and the style stays underneath.
- Organize and correct your album. After upload, Organizing your photos shows reading progress, then puts your day in order. Download your album, organized returns the original files in numbered section folders. Open a photo to change its Section or move it Earlier or Later; your choices survive future organizing. We read every photo for its part of the day. The few we couldn’t sort wait under Not sorted: open one and pick getting ready, ceremony, the two of you and so on. You can change any photo’s part of the day the same way.
- What happened to your notes. Every note you send goes straight into the next version — nobody has to approve it. Under the film, "What we did with your notes" shows each one: done, or what we couldn’t do and how to ask for it in the editor instead (pause on the picture, then Swap, Take out or Hold).
- How long you can make changes. From your first film you have 30 days to make changes; each new version usually arrives within a day. $20 adds a week — or reopens editing — until your files are deleted. Let us feature your wedding in our marketing and the week is free. We keep your latest version and the one before it, so download any older one before you send changes. Your photos and films are deleted 90 days after editing closes.
