The question
The florist hands over your boutonnière with one pin. Someone sticks it on, roughly where a flower goes, and then you hug ninety people. How is that flower pinned on?
- Through the front of the lapel, near the buttonhole. It’s a flower. It’ll be fine.
- Left lapel, pinned from the back so the pin doesn’t show, a second pin if it wobbles, and someone checks it after the hugs.
